Well I'm back on the road again! I have knitted 2 yes that's right...2 baby hats. I also am cast on with another felted bag. I have no pictures because of my Oldest Daughter decided to drop my camera and oops its broke mom! I am now saving for a new one. Boo hooo that means no new yarn......As though I shop like you all and have a stock pile. I have accumulated a few colors for my baby hats.
I have been a little messed up with work...Had some minor foot surgery and now a job change for the better! I am still at Home Depot but my schedule going to be a 5 A.M. to 2 P.M. Monday through Friday! Please everyone keep me in your thoughts so it works out.
I have been reading up on all the happenings of my buds! At least I am with you all in thought and spirit. Maybe I will show some one of these Fridays and surprise you all!
Hope you all are having a great summer!

Well it has been almost 2 months! I have thought many times in the middle of the night when I could not sleep to just get up and do what I like to do......Read and catch up on all my knitting buddies blogs! I have not knitted 1 stitch maybe it is toooo HOT I have been lurking and reading when I can. I sure miss getting together at Tattered Cover. Some one of these days I will make an appearance. I think that I am in need of a night out.
My job......Has been less of a challenge these days I have finally settled in and am more comfortable working with nothing but men. Most of which have been seeing just how lazy they can be and how much more I can accomplish than they. In one hour this past week I was left to the department alone ( which happens quite often) I stood at the paint machines and made 50 gallons of paint! I would take 5 orders at a time and then I went into motion etc. Till there were no more orders! One of my customers was just amazed how well I was able to multi-task .....Most of us gals can We had a meeting at 6 am on Sunday for 2 hours ....Suppose to be the day of rest.....Not at Home Depot....I was the lucky one and had to return at 1:30 for the closing shift it was not bad. I was also surprised with an award given to me at the meeting for my excellent work done!
Well I have the day off and will start a 8 day no days off tomorrow. So I have a few errands to do so my family survives with out me! I usually work, eat and sleep when I have a week like the one coming up.
I am going to lurk a little more on all my friends blogs have a great day, week, and may be month before I get back on to chat with you all!

I don't know how to express how sorry I am! Not Blogging for over a month!
I think my life is never going to be the same. The new job is going good......So very much to learn and remember! My old brain feels like a tornado. I just hope that is will stop soon.
As for knitting not one stitch has been knitted! Oh how I miss the sound of my needles clicking together. I am going away this week-end to a scrapbook get-away.
I then will be caught up with my daughters graduation gift! Her 18 years finished! I am in hopes that she will then take over the reins and do her own......Probably not.

On my needles I am still working on this very easy shell for summer....I hope I will wear it this summer.
I will try not to go another month before I get back to my blog.

Can't wait for May Flowers!

Thursday! Was up at the crack of Dawn getting Joel,Jessie and cousin Andrew out the door. They are going to do a little spring snow boarding today! Copper mountain I hope you're ready for these crazy kids.
My knitting has come to a stand still. I think that I might have to take a break....Not! I am working on a shell and it is coming along but its slow.

As for whats going on in my adventures of Jobs.....I am going to work with lots of color at my new job! Thank goodness its something I feel confident about! Can you guess what department I will be working in at Home Depot? I think I will wait to see if you can guess!
I will be doing training through April and am going to work full time as of May 1st I think that's my official date. My knitting will probably be hit and miss for a while. But I am ready to get out of the house....Have worked out of my house for the last 20 years! Time to see another view of the world.

I have pictures finally! but read on after the pictures for all the happenings!

I am so thankful that its hump day!
I want you all to know haw wonderful my secret pal is! She is the BEST! Look at this wonderful bag that she made just for me. It has wonderful printed fabric inside with six yes I said six pockets. They were all filled with goodies....Knitters balm. Stitch counter, a Great addition to my scrapbooks a GNOME with knitting needles! She also included a wonderful note and some yummy candy called "Daim" it like toffee yummy! I need to know where I can buy it because I have never seen it before but it is a must.
My secret pal asked a couple of question of me and I thought I would address them now.She want to know if I would do socks and the answer is yes if I could do both at the same time. Also she wants to know about hand spinning would I ever do it? I would love to learn!! I have not read or looked into it but would be very interested in information about spinning.

I am posting some long awaited pictures. My Ene is finally a finished project! I think that I might do it again in the future. I had a great deal of difficulty with the first set of charts but after that it was a breeze.
My next picture is my Charlotte. I have about 27 more rows and am trying to get it off the needles for Friday night knitting.......Do you think I can do it?....Will see.
I am also going to tell you some news I have applied at Home Depot for part time work! If I had full time babies I would not have to but oh well. I am not opposed to finding another family but while in the process I must bring in a little bit more in the bacon department. Yes this is sad because it is going to cut into my knitting time BooHoo but it also means that I will have something on my resume other than Self employment for the last 20 years. They just don't see how important being a mom is! This is something that I would like to have address more in the future. Maybe when I can't sleep at night I will start writing a book on how important a Daycare provider really is and how people should view it as a real job!
Okay now I will get off my soap box.
I think I will pull out my color on color and get some more done. As for new projects I am thinking on finding a shell with maybe a simple cable on it!

Well my little cherub has awaken from his slumber and is wanting my attention so I must bid farewell to my blog but will be back sooner than later I hope!

Wednesday already....The days do fly by! Update Monday we were going to take the girls with us for our Anniversary but they both declined! I told Joel that it is hard to beat The Melting Pot ( a great place for Fondu) that's where we took the girls for valentines Day and for our youngest daughters Paiges birthday. Make a long story short we decided to rejoin our first years of marriage and eat cheap...We went to one of our favorite places....Penera Bread.... And shared memories over a bowl of potato soup! Just to be in a corner with Joel and not being interrupted with waiters and kids it was grand!
Back to knitting!
I am working on another slipper for an auction at my daughters church on March 11th. So everyone have a great day!

I am having the Day of my LIFE! The sun is shining no snow in the forecast and my flower bulbs are pushing up the dirt. I have so much to tell you all....Its my 26th anniversary to my wonderful husband,Joel. He brought me 2 dozen red roses and is spending the day away from work and being with me.

We also took our oldest daughter Jessie and visited Colorado Christian College this morning. The campus is wonderful. We are also going to visit metropolitan State College this week. The wait is on for scholarship money. Then we sent her back to school.
Then the mail came! Yes I got mail from my International Scarf Exchange. Dalsee was doing my gift which was this beautiful Peace Fleece scarf and hat! It even has cables. The color is Blueberry Borscht. It was worth the wait! March is usually our snowiest month so I will give it a good work out then. Thank You so much Dalsee!

Well I hope you are not tired yet or maybe I am just rambling....I have picture updates. My Ene is about 85% finished.

I was not successful with getting it done while watching the Olympics but I did decrease the amount of stitches on the needles.
I also have this other new project called the Charlottes Web I am a glutton for punishment yes more lace work! But oh how fun it is.
Well I guess that I better get off here and get in the shower for this evening. I have no Idea where we are going...???.
